Blues & Grace - A Civil War Odyssey
November 04, 2012
Arizona Daily Star writes:
The novel begins with Robert E. Lee in his quarters three days before the beginning of the Civil War Battle of Gettysburg. As the battle rages, the novel continues on its quirky, intriguing way following soldiers as they investigate a boarded-up farmhouse, or, as one does, contemplate desertion. All of this is accompanied by a chorus of insects - primarily mosquitoes - who ruminate and philosophize about the state of mankind.
